No Family Should Feel Alone
An inherited retinal disease may be part of your family’s story, but it doesn’t have to define it, and it doesn’t have to be a journey you navigate alone. Our families have supported one another through the uncertainty, questions and challenges that come with inherited vision loss. Along the way, we’ve also had the privilege of watching our children grow, adapt, achieve their goals and build full, meaningful lives. We celebrate their successes together, learn from one another and remind each other that there is so much more to our children, and to our families, than a diagnosis. What began as a need for support has grown into lifelong friendships, shared experiences and a community that continues to be there through every stage of the journey.
